THE LETTER

After spending nearly three years as a partisan fighter in the wilderness, Stepan is heavily wounded and rescued by the advancing regular army in the bitter spring of 1944.  Healed and sent home, the battle for Stepan is hardly over. Best film at the Miami International Film Festival 2007, Barbados Film Festival 2007 and IIFC 2008.

Brad William Henke (Choke, Sherry Baby, World Trade Center) is Denim, the supervisor for a residential facility housing 15 kids who are all affected by child abuse and neglect in unimaginable ways. Inside the gates of Short Term 12, fights and blow-ups happen daily and Winner jury prices in short filmmaking at Sundance Film Festival 2009.  Winner, grand jury prize, Seattle International Film Festival. Winner of grand jury prize, Cinevegas.

FRANKIE

Frankie is 15 and preparing for fatherhood he is determined to be the best dad ever, but as his day goes on, he starts to realize how impossible this will be for him. Winner of the Best Short Film at the 2008 Berlinale Film Festival and the Miami Short Film Festival.

Lightheaded is a journey we take with temperature sensitive candle creatures who sacrifice what they know to become who they are.  Winner of the Bodega International short Film Festival 2011, London Children Film Festival 2010, Rhode Island International Film Festival 2009, FirstGlance Film Festival Hollywood 2010 and Miami Short Film Festival 2009.

GRISEN

Directed by Dorthe Warno Hogh, Denmark 2008, 23 Minutes, Narrative
Is personal freedom more important than religious rights? An epic debate staged over a tiny painting in a bare hospital room.  Nominated for the Academy Award, this clever short won the Miami Short Film Festival in 2008, and snapped the audience awards at the The Warsaw Film Festival and the Hamptons Film Festival.

CHICORY ‘N’ COFFEE

Directed by Dušan Kastelic, Slovania, 2008, 9 minutes, Animation
Based on a poem from Iztok Mlakar , the film is a love story between a man and woman, The story turns on a small deception – since they were married, instead of the real thing, the wife has always made Chicory (a cheap substitute for Coffee) for her husband.
Winner of over twenty awards at international film festivals.
