With the launch of their new website, membership program, and partnering up with The Miami New Times and WLRN Public Radio & Television (Public Media for South Florida). MsFF is ready to have and make this 10th Year Anniversary Festival become the biggest event of the year!

Miami short Film Festival will kick off November 14th-20th 2011, at the historical and beautiful Colony Theatre, 1040 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach Fl, 33139.

In previous year MsFF has lived up to its promise to continue to support local and international filmmakers, in keeping true to their mission and philosophy that today’s short films lead to tomorrow’s world-renowned filmmakers. MSFF has been accepting short films from all over the world over the years.

William Vela, the founder of MsFF believes that art can be expressed in many ways and he shows the guest every year what art means to him through the films he chooses for the film festival. Last year they received over 500 submissions from Australia, Iran, Japan, Mexico, and Argentina to name a few.
