about the MsFF institute

The Miami Short Film Festival Institute’s approach is to discover, develop and support new emerging filmmakers from across the globe and to fully embrace the unique vision of each filmmaker, encouraging a rigorous creative process with a focus on original and deep personal storytelling by providing workshops, seminars and offering tools and guidance.

Through out the years the festival has been creating different programs to help promote this mission and at the same time to support culture by serving different youth groups and organizations who are interested in the audio visual world at a local and international level.

For this reason, The Miami Short Film Festival Institute was founded, an entity within MsFF dedicated towards education and cultural exchange in filmmaking.

This is an all year-round program that provides opportunities to learn, discuss, and grow within the film medium and industry.
