The MSFF deadlines and submission fees for 2010 are:

◦ April 30, 2010 Regular Deadline $45.00
◦ June 30, 2010 Late Deadline $55.00
◦ August 30, 2010 Extended Deadline $65.00
◦ September 30, 2010 Custom Deadline $75.00 |

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL OR COMPANY CHECKS - Sending in payments in the form of a check will delay your submission |

The film's total running time should between 1 to 30 minutes |
• |
Films in other language than English must have English subtitles |

NTSC Only (No PAL) |

The festival accepts Documentaries, Environmental, Experimental, Animation, and Narrative |
• |
The festival accepts films shot on 35mm, 16mm, 8mm, HD or Video |
• |
Film must be submitted on DVD for previewing |
• |
If your film is accepted the screening version must be submitted on Beta SP. Mini DV, DV Cam. |

The festival does not return material unless the filmmaker includes a self-addressed and stamped return box with their submission, no exceptions. Preview DVDs will not be returned |

The MSFF reserves the right to show short clips of the films to promote the festival (Internet / TV / other media) |
• |
The MsFF reserves the right to use still images from the film to promote the festival |
• |
Announcement of accepted films will be posted on the MsFF website prior to the event |

Not filling out the entry form completely and accurately may delay your film for consideration. Please contact our office with any questions |

Awards available to win are: Best Animation, Best Documentary, Best Experimental, Best Environmental, Best Narrative, Best Local, Best Foreign, and Best of Festival |

All films in the festival's "Official Selection" will be considered for nomination to win Best Of in its category |
• |
All south Florida "Official Selection" films are automatically considered for nomination to a special Best Local category |
• |
All foreign "Official Selection" films are automatically considered for nomination to a special Best Foreign |
• |
All Best of Category winners (including Best Local and Best Foreign) are automatically nominated to the Best of Festival category |
