Paragon Grove 13
Paragon Grove 13 opened in June 2010 in CocoWalk. After being owned by another company for years, Paragon gave the theater a $4 million upgrade featuring stadium seating, high-definition digital projection with 3D, all reserved VIP seating, beer and wine at concessions, and The Lot Bar & Lounge.
Miami Beach Cinematheque
MBC is located in the Historic City Hall on South Beach, built by Carl Fischer in 1927. Restored and renovated by the Miami Beach Film Society, the space has a screening room, gallery, bookstore/library, and cafe.
Miami Children’s Museum
The Miami Children’s Museum is located on Watson Island, near Downtown Miami. The facility includes 14 galleries, classrooms, parent/teacher resource center, Kid Smart educational gift shop, 200-seat auditorium and Subway restaurant. The museum offers hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits; programs and classes and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication.
North Beach Bandshell
This outdoor amphitheater, located in North Shore Park in Miami Beach, hosts a number of cultural events throughout the season, including performances from the Florida Dance Festival (in the month of June) and various other free musical and performing arts shows.
